I think I just heard the Hallelujah Chorus. Since my December goals were posting on Dec 30th I figured it was time to stop procrastinating and at the 11th hour (literally) I finished this stripe- that really wasn’t too difficult… why do I do this to myself??

Went on a mani pedi date with my old college roomie. She now lives in South Korea so I only see her twice a year, but it was GREAT (and of course I didn’t get a pic!) So here’s from circa 2007 (move out day from the dorm!)

My friend Joy, that lives in the Bahamas, sent Luke a sweet Christmas present! He can’t wait to bring it to church and color!

Blah. Today was literally spent watching paint dry.

1st call to poison control! Needless to say I have that # memorized! 1-800-222-1222. Luke decided to eat a handful of paint. The back of the can said to get medical attention immediately. I decided to call them first to see what they had to say. Although it’s not ideal, the PC lady assured me he would be ok and that I handled the situation perfectly (washed his mouth out, brushed his teeth, and gave him some water)

Luke's 2 year well checkup. His stats are 34 in tall (50%), 20 in head (95%), and 33 lbs (90%). He got one shot and he doesn't have to go back for a year!

Day 18

We went caroling with church to the shut-ins. It was great fun and Luke enjoyed the 3 house visits. Then it was 30 min past his bedtime and he was done.

My next work in progress! The beginning of a “quiet book” for Luke. This is less than half of the pages that I hope to include, but I am so stinking excited!

Traveled with upwards of 600 students from Toccoa Elementary to the Fabulous Fox to see the Nutcracker. This is an ornament we made in class.

Seriously don't know why we didn't invest in this sooner... We had a Vicks brand cool mist humidifier that needed a filter. It would grow mold after like 3 days. Filters were around $6 each, and we went through close to 10 in the 2 years we had it. This cute little penguin doesn't need a filter and it is SUPER adorable too!!
